We are all about training, equipping, and preparing people of faith for effective ministry. The Chaplains Academy is designed for Pastors, Chaplains, and Lay Ministers of the Evangelical Christian Faith. Our Chaplains Academy will add classes over time to provide Continuing Education Credits. Keep checking back!

If you purchase a course, you may request a full refund up to the day before the first day of class. On the first day of class, we immediately incur expenses and the course becomes non-refundable at that point. 

  • Christian Ministry to the Incarcerated


    This course will teach the basics of Christian ministry in a jail or prison setting. This course is for prison ministry volunteers, spiritual care providers, lay and vocational chaplains, pastors, and anyone interested in serving the incarcerated. This is written from a Biblical Christian perspective. The material is presented within an unapologetically Christian worldview.  Designed for anyone wanting to learn about ministry to the incarcerated. It would be an excellent course for your church to consider using to train volunteers who may like to become part of a jail or prison ministry. 
     
    For Chaplains of Christian Chaplains & Coaching who serve with Kairos Prison Ministry, this course is required. This is at the request of Kairos Prison Ministry who also recommends it to their volunteers.

  • The Basics of Chaplaincy


    Christian Chaplaincy brings hope, encouragement, and healing to those in need. Chaplaincy is not only for professionals, but for lay believers too. A Chaplain is on mission to people outside the Church.  This course will teach, train, and equip both professionals and volunteers of the Evangelical Christian Faith the basics of serving well as a Christian Chaplain.

  • Christian Counseling for Grief


    Certificate in Christian Counseling and Grief Care is designed to teach the basics of counseling for Christians who feel called to the ministry, along with pastors, and chaplains. Successful completion will earn you a Certificate with 25 hours of continuing education credit.

  • EARN CREDIT TOWARD A DEGREE


    We collaborate with a growing number of Christian Universities and Seminaries to offer Clinical Pastoral Education and Chaplain Training which is embedded in their degree program. Take CPE and earn credit toward you degree!

  • Clinical Pastoral education


    We teach CPE from an unapologetically Biblical Christian worldview. We partner with the Association of Biblical Higher Education to include CPE in degree programs of their accredited institutions who are interested in collaborating with us. Our CPE is approved for up to 24 hours of Masters level credit.
