Karen is happily married to her husband Richard of 37 years whom she met on a mission trip to Haiti. Together they enjoy spending time with their family. They have five children and eight grandchildren. Karen has spent most of her adult life in ministry and Christian Education. She earned a Doctorate of Theology in May 2009 at Southwest Georgia Theological Seminary where she currently serves as an instructor and Chancellor. She has completed four units of Clinical Pastoral Education and is in the process of Board Certification.
