  • Chaplain Vinson Hill

    Ordained Chaplain currently serving as the Senior Jail Chaplain for the Dougherty County Sheriff Office. He is a Georgia P.O.S.T. Certified Chaplain and listed as a Master Chaplain with the U.S. Homeland Security. He earned a Doctor of Divinity through Trinity Seminary in 2007 and has served in ministry these past 14 years.. As a genuine servant of our community, he serves on the advisory board of the Change Center and provides Chaplain Services to the Chamberlains Boys Group Homes. He is the Father of two beautiful children and has one grandchild. He is lovingly known as our ministry “Prayer warrior and intercessor.” His personal motto is “Godly truth will always stand alone.” 

  • Chaplain Dan Baughman

    Ordained Chaplain. Born in Westerville Ohio. President and CEO of The River Ministries 104.9 The River Radio in Columbus Ohio. See Website Here A member of  Ohio Association of Broadcaster, National Association Broadcaster, and Christian Music Broadcaster. A first responder at Westerville Fire Department from 1972 to 1979. Has a soft spot for men and women who serve our community in that way. Happily married to Vicky for nearly 45 years. Was employed for 29 years at Metter Toledo with education in business and electronic engineering. Dan is a very generous follower of Jesus. His ministry and experience in Christian Radio becomes a valuable addition to our Board of Advisors. 

  • Chaplain Jennifer Sherling

    Ordained Chaplain and retired United Methodist minister who served 14 years at Porterfield United Methodist Church in Albany. She continues to serve at Porterfield through teaching Bible studies, Sunday school, and singing in the Chancel choir. Jennifer was in education for 25 years as a teacher and school counselor. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). She holds masters and EDS degrees from the University of Georgia, Valdosta State, and Southern Methodist University Perkins School of Theology. She is CEO of THEARK,INC Ministries, connecting individuals from their point of need to a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. This is accomplished through counseling, Bible studies, teaching, local, and foreign missions. She enjoys time with her two grown daughters and families that include three grandchildren she loves to bless. Jennifers life priorities are Faith, Family, and Friends. 

  • Chaplain Dan Jalkanen

    Ordained Chaplain. Dan grew up in a small farming community in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. He moved to the Detroit area and lives in Lake Orion Michigan. He and his wife Robin have been married for 34 years. They have two married daughters and 5 grandchildren. He has worked at General Motors for 35 years. They attend Calvary Christian Church –Royal Oak. Dan is a dedicated Christian involved in church leadership for over 30 years and has a deep love of people and ministry. Dan is an ordained elder and chaplain. His chaplain focus is ministry and pastoral care to law enforcement agency members, their families, and to the jail. Dan has served in prison ministry and currently volunteers as corrections clergy at the Oakland County Sheriff main jail. Dan is also actively involved in church security ministry. He is a graduate of the Macomb Community College, Criminal Justice Training Center, Public Service Chaplain Academy. 

  • Chaplain Fred Smith

    Ordained Chaplain. Married 42 years to his beloved wife, Juana who is also an Ordained Chaplain. They have 4 children and 3 grandchildren. They are active members at Greenbriar Church in Albany GA. Fred spent 30 years as a Food Scientist and 10 years in online customer service. He was ordained in 2007 and served as pastor of Berean Church from 2007 to 2015. Fred and Juana partner as Chaplains to reach people who do not speak or understand English well. Their mission is to teach students conversational English and introduce them to the Gospel of Jesus Christ at the same time.
