We encourage our emergency response chaplains to further their education in crisis response care. One of the best resources we have found for this is through the International Critical Incident Stress Foundation and K-Love CISM training.

We will allow continuing education credit, hour for hour, from any course taken through ICISF or CRT.
If you are involved in emergency chaplaincy, you must develop community and relationships with police, fire, EMT, and Paramedic community. If you are not one of them it will take time to be a chaplain to them. Invest your life into building relationships and being present and you will be rewarded.
